We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Macon. We love our friends there. Not only are they good company and kind enough to let us stay, but they are excellent cooks! :) I didn't take any pictures, but just know we had a great time. After we had sufficiently stuffed our faces, we drove to Pine Mountain, GA to see the Christmas lights at Callaway Gardens.
Some of the trees with just colored spotlights were pretty.
Winter wonderland.
This was my favorite part.
Swans on the water. The reflection was pretty. Too bad the picture isn't clear...
We had a great time.
We have such a good time with our friends. Haley overcame many fears on this little outing. We even got her to sit on the bridge and we didn't get eaten by spiders. It was a Thanksgiving miracle! There was a bit of a melt down on the rocks though...Good thing her pants were tucked in her socks. The spiders and bugs would have eaten her alive!
Baby steps. That is how we got her to go back to the rocks for "one more picture". Good thing- it ended up being her favorite picture. Already framed and on her mantle. :)
We tried some pictures too.
We laugh so hard when we go to Macon. We introduced our friends to the game of "Polly Wolly Bang Bang". It was a real hit! :) Luckily, we are still friends. Whew. We were a little nervous for a while. Thanks Burns' and Strandburg's for a wonderful Thanksgiving. We truly do have so much to be thankful for.

What a cute couple! oh, and you and Josh look good too! :) LOVE the Christmas lights! Our kids ask almost every night if we can go for a ride to look at lights. The green Christmas takes some getting used to, but I don't miss the frigid temps!
Those lights look fun. I think my favorite part would be the same at your favorite part, not because I'm copying you but because it looks pretty cool. :) That's great you have close friends you can introduce Polly Wolly Bang Bang too...interesting how we were never introduced to it. Hmmm...*tear*.
